Dog life nearly lost all meaning when Noura and I realized Custer was no more. Our first Custer - now "Pinkie" was long in the tooth and short on fur. So last year we scoured the internet high and low, looking for a small dog store merchant that might have a Custer. We managed to identify one...what felt like was likely the LAST Custer on the planet. We've primped and cared for "Goldie", but in the end the favorite Labrador mouth companion gets so much LOVE.

Things were looking dismal. As Noura's fourth birthday approached I would halfheartedly troll the "toy" isle looking for anything, anything that might come close. Nada. Then one day...I turned the corner, cursing the ideal of Custer. There in front of me...a turquoise gem...Sven...in all his furry wonder. They were back. We had not been abandoned, life would go on. Sven is now "Turq". Peace and sanity have once again descended upon the land. Hope restored, I write this review. Thank you.

About 4 years ago I ordered our first Rowdies after my Neice and her dog, Sir Leo Beans, came to visit and had one. My dog instantly became enthralled and we immediately ordered 2. (The older 2 in the photos). They’ve been well loved and washed many times. They hold up beautifully, which easily makes them my favorite! Only one of the old ones still has a working squeaker, but they were the dog’s favorites…. Until this week when the new Rowdies arrived. Ronnie and our new addition Marci love their Rowdies and play with them together and with us many times a day. Thank you so much for making such long lasting and engaging toys for our pups! We’ve enjoyed them for years and are looking forward to enjoying them for many more.
